Placement Activities

The Placement cell of our college involves itself in various activities related to placement of the students. The cell starts right from training the students in various skills related to their academic branches and in soft skills like communication, linguistic control, body language, aptitude, logical reasoning, interview handling, presentation of self etc.,

Apart from the training activities, the placement cell continuously engages in various activities to identify HR people from different companies of various fields like IT, core and civil industries. We keep in constant touch with the HR departments of various companies and are abreast with the HR requirements of these companies. The placement cell sends the data of students in accordance with the requirements of various companies and organizes for campus drives in a planned and phased manner through out the year.

The following companies have in collaboration with us, conducted campus drives at our premises and selected our students for employment with them.

Maintec Technologies, Noida.: M/s. Maintec Technologies are a leading service provider in Mainframe work for corporate giants like IBM, HCL and ACCENTURE. They have selected 12 of our candidates on the spot in the campus drive conducted on 3rd November, 2014, as Analysts in Mainframe to work in IBM. They are conducting a further interview through skype in January, 2015, for recruiting another 15 students. We are in the process of signing a MOU with Maintec Technologies for recruitment drives every year.

M/s. RitikaPrintech, Noida: M/s. RitikaPrintechare one of the leading GPS and GIS survey companies in India. They have been awarded Central Government contract for conducting land surveys through GPS and GIS. For their south operations, they have recruited 32 of our CIVIL students as Field Surveyors who wil be conducting the surveys with GPS instruments, on the 4th of November, 2014 during the campus drive conducted jointly by us and RitikaPrintech. We are in the process of signing a MOU with them for recruitment on a yearly basis.

M/s.AQUASUB ENGINEERING WORKS, COIMBATORE(TEXMO): We are having a Campus Drive on 10th January, 2015 at our premises with M/s. Aquasub Engineering Works, Coimbatore, who are a part of Texmo group, one of the leading and well known pumps and motors manufacturers, for our Mechanical Students.

M/s:ISS World: M/s. ISS are a Multi-national organization, who are into hospitality, food, sanitation, security and shop-floor back-up work for the core industry. They are about to select around 20 candidates from our mechanical branch, during the 3rd week of January, 2015, who will be placed to work in the shop floor of M/s. Schneider India and Hovarth as Mechanical support staff in their respective production lines.

M/s. CIAR software solutions, Chennai are a leading IT software solutions company in Chennai, with orders from various countries like Singapore, Mauritius etc., They have selected 8 of our students from the circuit branches to work in their projects. They have set up a Hub in our college premises and the students have started working on the real time projects in our college labs.

UMAA engineers, Sholinganallur, Chennai are a high tensile industrial fasteners manufacturers and exporters. They have selected 9 of our Mechanical branch Students to work as Trainee engineers during the campus drive conducted on 19/03/2015. We are also in the process of negotiating an in-house training for our student entrepreneurship programme. On completion of successful training of the first batch of students, The company is entering into an MOU with our college for manufacturing bolts and nuts in our college facility on a job work basis which is being done under the student entrepreneurship programme.

To build up a computerized database of students of all the branches with a view to serve the industries requirement in a queue response mode.

To acquire the services of competent training agencies to train the students in soft skills and personality development programme.

Karthigeya Plastics and Technologies, Irungattukottai, Chennai., are a leading plastic injection moulded automobile parts who are suppliers to all leading automobile manufacturers. They have selected 10 of our Mechanical branch students to work as Trainee Engineers in their facility, in the campus drive conducted on 19/03/2015

Apart from these drives, the placement cell is negotiating with M/s. Baby Engineering Works, Trichy, a leading contract vendor for BHEL, Trichy, for Internships for our mechanical branch students.

The placement cell is focusing on future CAMPUS DRIVES for the benefit our students in the coming academic years and is working on the modalities to ensure a regular annual campus drive regime is maintained in the coming years.
